The journey of Her Code began with Bianca, a computer science graduate who, despite her technical expertise, struggled with self-doubt throughout her academic and early professional career. Bianca realized there was a pressing need to instill confidence in coding skills in the younger generation, especially among girls who faced societal pressures and stereotypes. In 2022, she began teaching coding to children in after school programs.  In 2023, she combined her experience in technology and education to launch an online platform designed to teach children coding skills through fun and interactive activities.

The platform features a wide range of engaging modules that employ gaming mechanics, storytelling, and hands-on projects to promote self-esteem and resilience. Bianca’s own experiences with self-doubt fueled her vision of creating a safe space for kids to explore, learn, and build their confidence without fear of judgment.  Today, Her Code continues to empower countless young minds, transforming Bianca’s initial insecurities into a legacy of strength and assurance for future generations.
